Once property owners have reached an agreement with a potential rental candidate, owners must complete a Request for Tenancy Approval form. The form requests basic information, such as the address of the unit, the monthly rental fee and the utilities the tenant will be required to pay. Owners will also be required to negotiate a lease agreement with the potential client.
After your unit has passed inspection, owners will be required to sign a contract with the Housing Authority. Every year, owners will be required to go through a recertification process. Leases will not be binding until after the unit has passed inspection and you have signed a contract with the PHA.
