What is your refund policy?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

AffordableHousing.com memberships provide immediate access to Premium features, including listing tools, renter inquiries, and account management capabilities. Because these services are available instantly upon purchase, paid subscription fees are generally non-refundable or only partially refundable, as described below.

When a Refund May Be Considered

A refund may be reviewed in the following circumstances:

1. Accidental Purchase

If a membership was purchased in error and no Premium features were used (such as creating a listing, contacting renters, or accessing reports), a refund request may be considered when submitted within three (3) days of purchase.

2. Partial Use / Prorated Refunds

No proration refund consideration is provided for monthly Premium plans. For Quarterly or Annual Premium plans, AffordableHousing.com may offer a prorated refund based on the remaining time left in the subscription. Prorated refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and depend on account activity and services already received.

3. Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged incorrectly (for example, duplicate charges or an incorrect amount), you must contact Customer Service within 90 days of the charge first appearing on your account, or 120 days from the date of the charge, whichever comes first.

4. Service Interruptions Caused by AffordableHousing.com

If a significant interruption or failure of service was caused solely by AffordableHousing.com, and not by user actions or third parties, you may be eligible for a credit or refund at our discretion.

When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • Premium features have been extensively used after purchase

  • A property listing has been created or published

  • Messages have been sent to renters

  • The account has accessed Premium reports or tools

  • The request is based on a change of mind rather than an accidental purchase or billing error

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank instead of contacting Customer Service may result in:

  • Temporary suspension of account access

  • Removal of active listings while the dispute is reviewed

  • Requirement to resolve the outstanding balance before services can be restored

We reserve the right to provide account activity records to financial institutions when a dispute is filed.

How to Request a Refund or Report an Error

All refund or billing inquiries must be submitted to Customer Service:

Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. AffordableHousing.com reserves the right to deny a refund if we reasonably believe the policy is being misused, the account has violated our Terms of Use, or fraudulent activity is suspected.
